This new TJ rear bumper is fabricated from carbon steel to produce a very strong product. The total weight of this product is about 65lbs. The bumper sub-structure and lower frame tie-in plates are fabricated from 3/16 inch carbon steel plate with a 1/4 inch thick receiver tube. The d-ring mounts are 3/4 inch steel plate. This weldment is fully MIG welded.
The bumper body is made from 3/16 inch carbon steel. It is formed with large radius tooling to maintain the integrity of the material. The body is then MIG welded on the inside and the outside.
